Inking

I find inking to actually be quite hard to do well and sometimes I do find as well that it actually makes my drawings worse.  But when doing comic book pages you have to ink.  This is one page I actually like in both pencil and ink!

Drawings On The Train

A few weeks ago Amber and I went to Toronto and on the way back she fell asleep on the Go Train.  Which left me with an hour to fill with just one sheet of paper and a pen.  These are the results.

Here is the whole one side, I drew superman first.

I drew myself by looking at my reflection in the window.

Amber sleeping

Noses, I find them tricky to draw so I was practicing.

A not bad Batman and an awful Catwoman fighting on top of the go train.  A weird face in the sky there too, but that`s because I drew the nose first and made the face without any guide for proportion.

A Shark And Mike

One of the children at daycare asked if i could draw a shark.  Then asked me to draw him in his superfast new shoes!

Day 19–Favourite Magical Character

I drew this on Art Academy for Wii U and then snapped a picture of it.  I wouldn’t really say Wonder Woman is my favourite magical character, but I am reading Volume 3 of the series right now so she’s what came to mind.

Day 18–Pixel Art You

Here I am as an 8-bit sprite.  I cheated a bit on the colours though and used more than four.  Maybe I’m 9-bit?

Mara Jade

This is a drawing I did back in like 2001 or something.  Mara Jade was from a Star Wars game and this picture was I think taken off the cover art from the CD.  Maybe.  I’m pretty sure I had a reference for it anyways.
